This position is for a Cyber Security Engineer on the Next Generation GEO (NGG) program based in Boulder, but also supported in Longmont CO. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic Cyber engineering team that designs, develops, documents, tests, and maintains full spectrum cyber solutions.
As a Cyber Security Engineer supporting the NGG program, your responsibilities will include:
Conducting cyber risk assessment activities, vulnerability analysis, and analysis of mitigation solutions.
Developing, evaluating, and analyzing design constraints, trade-offs, and detailed system and security designs.
Implementing appropriate Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers.
Prepare ATO, ATC, IATT packages for input into eMASS.
Specific technical responsibilities include:
Assessing and driving mitigation efforts of system security threats/risks throughout the program lifecycle for the Space Vehicles and Ground system.
Implementation of security policies and or configurations to meet Risk Management Framework (RMF) objectives.
Interacting significantly with other engineering disciplines to implement security designs, resolve vulnerabilities, modify system or software components security settings, and mitigate risk.
Performing System Engineering activities to manage Cyber requirements for tracking until closure.
