Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Disability Support Worker - Junior to join our team! In this role you will get to provide personalassistanceservices in an office setting, and may support administrative and logistical tasks for disability support. This entry-level role focuses on executing defined tasks,maintainingaccuraterecords, andassistingprogram coordinators and managers with the day-to-day operations that ensure the workforce is well-supported,in accordance withall agency and regulatory guidance.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide direct personalassistanceservices to employees and applicants with targeted disabilities. Duties include, but are not limited to, note taking at meetings, keyboard mouse navigation, keyboard typing, data entry, holding and movement of materials, dialing and answering the telephone, lifting maps and charts, filing, and other general administrative tasks.

  • This DSW will also provide limited administrative support for the reasonable accommodation program as needed,mainly asa back-fill for when the primary DSW is unavailable. Duties include, but are not limited to, providing RA forms to employees and applicants and drafting routine correspondence for review.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Education/Experience: Aminimum of anAssociate's degree in Human Resources, Disability Studies, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, orin lieu of a degree, 3years of equivalent experience in a related role.

  • Core Skills: Critical thinking, problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills (oral and written). Ability to handle sensitive personnel information with discretion.Proficiencyin Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
