Job description

Jobestead Cabinetry is seeking an experienced, dependable Custom Cabinet Maker to join our growing team.  We specialize in high-quality custom cabinetry, including kitchens, bathrooms, built-ins, closets, vanities, and other custom woodworking projects.  We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, understands cabinet construction, and can work efficiently in a professional cabinet shop environment. 


Position Responsibilities

  • Assist with building and assembling custom cabinets, built-ins, vanities, and other woodworking projects
  • Cut and prepare cabinet components according to measurements, drawings, and cut lists
  • Assemble cabinet boxes, face frames, drawers, and other components
  • Sand and prepare cabinetry and wood components for finishing
  • Use table saws, miter saws, routers, drills, sanders, and other woodworking tools and equipment
  • Measure accurately and follow shop drawings and instructions
  • Inspect work for accuracy and quality
  • Load, unload, and safely move cabinets, materials, and supplies
  • Organize materials and maintain an orderly workspace
  • Keep the cabinet shop and work areas clean and safe
  • Assist other cabinet makers and shop team members as needed
  • Help prepare completed cabinetry for delivery and installation
  • Follow company safety procedures and proper equipment practices
