Job Description:

We are looking for a repair technician who has the desire to learn, is reliable, and is excited about the opportunity to work with devices at the cutting edge of mobile computing. This is an entry-level position to kick off your IT career. In this role you will service our K-12 clients with repairing Chromebooks.
ChromeCare Technician Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnosis of hardware & software issues in ChromeOS and other devices
  • Replacement of LCDs, keyboards, motherboards, and system components
  • Document resolution steps and parts consumption in ticket software
  • Manage paperwork trail for the warranty claim process.
  • Device teardown including parts testing and asset disposition.
  • Complete assigned daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
  • Assist in the enrollment and rollout of new client devices.
  • Complete additional training to advance career as requested.

ChromeCare Technician Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of Chromebooks and ChromeOS preferred.
  • Experience with hardware repair tools and equipment required.
  • A+ Certification preferred.
  • Experience using Autotask Professional Services Automation Tool or similar system preferred.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills preferred.
