Job description

We are hiring for an Entry-Level Lab Technician here in the Cincinnati, Ohio area! This is a long-term career opportunity for someone looking to get there foot in the door in a pharmaceutical laboratory environment! The hours for this role are day shift, Monday - Friday.

An ideal candidate will have a Bachelors or Associates degree in a hard science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline).

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Lab Technician in Cincinnati to support routine laboratory testing for raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples. This role will be performing testing for pharmaceutical products.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare solutions for chemical and physical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Accurately document laboratory activities, test results, and observations in laboratory notebooks and other approved records.
  • Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, including balances, pH meters, and other analytical equipment as applicable.
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and safe working conditions in accordance with GMP requirements.
  • Assist with inventory management of laboratory supplies, chemicals, standards, and reagents to support uninterrupted laboratory operations.
  • Follow all safety procedures, environmental requirements, and company policies while performing laboratory tasks.
  • Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections by providing accurate documentation and demonstrating adherence to procedures.
  • Perform all duties in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet testing timelines and resolve routine laboratory issues.
  • Identify and communicate any deviations, anomalies, or equipment issues to ensure timely corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
