Entry Level Lab Technician

We are seeking an entry-level Laboratory Technician to join our Research and Development team within the food and beverage sector. This position involves supporting Science & Analytical projects through routine analytical testing, sample preparation, and general laboratory support activities using established methods and Good Laboratory Practices. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, capable of working independently, and committed to producing accurate and timely results. A passion for food/beverages is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage samples by receiving, processing, tracking, preparing, shipping, and disposing of analytical sample requests.
  • Perform routine chemical and physical testing on food-grade samples.
  • Communicate and coordinate with project managers, scientists, and lab members to organize the weekly workload.
  • Accurately record results, enter data into systems, and generate routine reports.
  • Maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment, complying with company policies and procedures.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in a laboratory setting with physical testing and sample preparation preferred.
  • Associate degree in a science-related field with 0-1 year of related experience, or a High School Diploma (or GED) with 1-3 years of related experience.
