Summary

APD seeks an accounting professional to join our growing organization.  APD's strong culture is ready for the right person to join us in the role of Staff Accountant.  This is an entry-level position with significant growth potential for the right candidate.  The Staff Accountant supports the Finance Department with a variety of administrative and accounting tasks.   

  • Monthly Financial Closing & Analysis
  • Project and Employee Metric Reporting.
  • Vendor and Sub-Consultant Invoice Processing
  • Processing Business Credit Card Transactions
  • Client Invoice Submissions and Document Flow
  • Assistance with Corporate Budget
  • Other duties assigned by Owners, CFO, and Finance Manager

Minimum Qualifications
  • 2+ Years of experience in accounting, finance or a related field
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, including experience with pivot tables, lookup functions, other formulas and nesting
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Positive team player

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or higher in accounting or finance
  • Experience with cost accounting and analysis

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
