Job description

Position Purpose:
The Digital Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of Essential Credit Union's digital marketing strategy by serving as the primary coordinator between the Credit Union and its external digital marketing agency. This position assists with the planning, coordination, implementation, and reporting of digital marketing campaigns while ensuring projects remain on schedule, on brand, and aligned with organizational goals.
Working under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Coordinator coordinates website content updates, digital advertising initiatives, email marketing, social media, online business listings, and digital marketing analytics. This position also collaborates with the Digital Services team to support an engaging digital member experience by identifying opportunities to improve the usability, accessibility, and effectiveness of member-facing digital applications and marketing touchpoints.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning and executing digital marketing campaigns supporting products, services, community initiatives, and organizational goals.
  • Coordinate paid digital advertising with external marketing partners and track campaign performance.
  • Assist with maintaining Google Business Profile, Apple Business Connect, Bing Places, and other online listings.
  • Prepare monthly marketing reports using website, email, social media, and advertising analytics.
  • Evaluate digital member experiences—including online account opening, loan applications, and other member-facing digital touchpoints—and recommend improvements to usability, accessibility, engagement, and conversion.
  • Collaborate with Digital Services to recommend enhancements that improve the digital member experience while supporting marketing objectives.
  • Maintain website content and create campaign landing pages using the content management system.
  • Create, schedule, and monitor email marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain social media content calendars; create and schedule content.
  • Create basic graphics, videos, and marketing assets using Canva, Adobe Express, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Monitor online reviews and draft responses consistent with Essential's brand standards.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, regulatory changes, and member feedback to proactively drive platform improvements.
  • Remains abreast of Essential policies and procedures regarding Member Identification, BSA, and OFAC rules.

  • Content Management – Maintains accurate, compliant, and engaging digital content.

Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing (preferred), Marketing, Communications, or a related field required.
