  • POSITION PURPOSE
    • Performs all scheduled and unscheduled driving functions as assigned.
  • MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
    • High School or Equivalent (GED)
  • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
    • Entry Level
  • LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
    • Must have valid driver license to operate a motor vehicle between Wisconsin and Illinois.
    • Driving record must reflect insurability via Froedtert South's automotive insurance carrier for authorized operation of fleet and at times patient/visitor vehicles (e.g., valet-related purposes).
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
    • Valid driver license and driving record that ensures insurability via Froedtert South's automotive insurance carrier for authorized operation of fleet vehicles.
    • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English.
    • Ability to work with confidential information.
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Possesses appropriate communication skills, including telephone etiquette.
    • Ability to effectively verbally communicate with patients, staff, and visitors.
  • PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
    • Transports mail (internal and U.S. Postal), substantial amounts of cash, sterile and non-sterile/soiled surgical equipment, bio-hazardous lab specimens/blood and medical instrumentation (including associated chemicals), linen (clean and soiled), pharmaceuticals, radiology-related documents, confidential materials/reports, medical records, and various sensitive/delicate medical-related equipment/materials to/from all campuses and clinics.
