An international company in Anaheim seeks an Accounting Coordinator to support cost accounting and general ledger accounting.
- $85k - 95k per year, exempt
- Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Long-term Temp status

Requirements of the Accounting Coordinator:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, emphasis in accounting
- 2+ years of experience in cost accounting analysis in a manufacturing or related industry
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to use SAP applications and Excel-based financial software applications
- Ability to extract, analyze, reconcile, and manipulate large data sets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
Responsibilities of the Accounting Coordinator:
- Supports cost and inventory accounting activities for assigned product lines by reconciling SAP, source system reports, and supporting schedules for assigned product lines
- Research discrepancies and prepare journal entries
- Assist with month-end close activities: prepare schedules and reports
- Prepares schedules and supporting data for financial reporting, audits, tax return preparation, J-SOX, Stravis, and other reporting requirements
- Provides cross-functional accounting support to other teams, including fixed assets, accounts receivable, and license payment processing
- Maintain and update price tables
