Job description

Pure Medical Spa, a subsidiary of Muskegon Surgical Associates, is hiring a part-time Permanent Makeup & Restorative Tattoo Artist to join our team. Pure Medical Spa provides permanent cosmetics, massages, body work, Botox, facial fillers, facials and much more.


We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Tattoo Artist specializing in permanent makeup and cosmetic tattooing to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional who is passionate about both enhancing natural beauty and providing restorative tattoo services in a professional medical aesthetic environment. Our ideal candidate is committed to delivering beautiful, natural-looking results while providing an exceptional patient experience through artistry, precision, and compassionate care.


Duties performing a variety of cosmetic and restorative tattoo procedures, including

  • 3D Areola & Nipple Restoration Tattooing for breast cancer survivors following reconstruction 
  • Microblading Brows 
  • Permanent Eyeliner 
  • Lip Blushing and Lip Liner 
  • Brow consultations, shaping, and custom color matching 
  • Touch-up appointments and maintenance procedures 
  • Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care 
  • Maintain the highest standards of sanitation, safety, and infection control 
  • Deliver an exceptional luxury patient experience from consultation through follow-up 
  • Additional permanent makeup services and specialties are welcomed.

Required Experience:

  • Current Permanent Makeup/Microblading certification and any required Michigan licensing 
  • Experience performing cosmetic tattoo procedures 
  • Minimum one year of permanent makeup or microblading experience preferred 
  • Areola restoration experience is preferred; advanced training opportunities may be available for the right candidate 
  • Excellent artistry, precision, symmetry, and attention to detail 
  • Strong understanding of facial aesthetics and color theory 
  • Outstanding communication, consultation, and customer service skills 
  • Professional, compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered 
  • Passion for continuing education and staying current with industry trends 
  • Portfolio showcasing your work, including healed results whenever possible
