As an entry-level financial analyst, you research economic trends and evaluate the growth and profitability of a company under the supervision of an experienced analyst. You collect and provide analysis of relevant data points, such as comparing the operating budget to company profit, and consider the outcome of similar transactions. The primary goal of your position is to develop strategies to leverage assets and increase profits. Your job duties also require you to report your findings and opinions to executive leadership and help them explore the potential impact of business decisions.

To thrive as an Entry Level Corporate Financial Analyst, you need a solid background in finance, accounting, and data analysis, typically supported by a bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field. Familiarity with financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle is often required.
