Summary: ATS is seeking a fulltime API with one or more API certs (510/570/653) to support our Portland, OR office. This position is geared towards recently certified API inspectors in a mostly residential inspector role working 30-40 hours per week with limited overtime. No per diem unless traveling out of area (rare). Requires relocation to Portland, OR.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs field inspections of tanks, and piping for compliance with standards and regulations, and ensures quality control and compliance.
- Provides recommendations for repairs and alterations to tanks, pressure vessels, piping and other components.
- Industrial inspection, operations and maintenance experience.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

- Candidate must be willing and very able to work at heights, in confined spaces, outdoors, and at lab, manufacturing and industrial sites.
- Candidate must be willing to relocate, work odd hours, work overtime, work varying hours and a varying schedule.
- Must be local or willing to relocate to Portland, OR.

Work Conditions:
- Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.

- Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
- Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
