Job description

Take on a role that combines hands-on controls engineering with technical leadership and project management. This opportunity is ideal for a Controls Engineer ready to take the next step into Project Management. You'll design and implement industrial control systems while leading projects from concept through startup. Responsibilities include PLC and SCADA programming, control panel and instrumentation design, commissioning, customer interaction, and managing small- to mid-sized automation projects for clients in industries such as semiconductor, pulp & paper, and food & beverage.

What We're Looking For

  • B.S. in Electrical or Controls Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 5–10 years of controls engineering experience
  • PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley and/or GE Fanuc)
  • SCADA experience (Cimplicity, Wonderware, or similar)
  • Experience with instrumentation, control panel design, and PID loop tuning
  • Ability to read P&IDs, electrical drawings, loop sheets, and control documentation
  • Experience leading projects or a desire to grow into project management
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to travel up to 25%
