Job description

Experienced Sign Installer

Excel Sign Service Inc., an established electrical sign contractor, is looking for a skilled and dependable Sign Installer to join our team. You will be installing a variety of signage across job sites throughout Southern California, working independently and as part of a crew. This is a hands-on field position, punctuality, professionalism and a strong work ethic are essential.ย  We start EARLY in the morning, usually 5:00 am, if you are not able to keep to this schedule, do not apply.

What you'll be doing:

  • Installing channel letters, ground signs, and vinyl graphics
  • Electrical troubleshooting and basic sign repair
  • Traveling to various job sites throughout Southern California each week
  • Working at heights using ladders, lifts and elevated platforms

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sign installation, this is not an entry-level position
  • Background in the construction field is required
  • Must own and bring your own tools: cordless drill/impact and hand tools are a must
  • Reliable transportation to reach job sites
  • Clean driving record
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Punctual, dependable and able to meet varying weekly schedules including overtime.ย  FYI: Jobs start early in the morning.
  • Drug testing will be performed on a random basis, do not apply if you have a history of drug or alcohol abuse.ย
