Description:

Community School of Naples (CSN) is seeking an organized and creative individual to join the community in the role of Communications and Marketing Coordinator. This entry-level position supports the development, editing, design, and coordination of internal and external communications across print and digital platforms.

Working closely with the Director of Admissions & Marketing and the Social Media Strategist, the Coordinator will help ensure that school communications are clear, accurate, engaging, and aligned with CSN’s voice and brand.

CSN is one of the top independent, non-sectarian day schools in Florida and maintains a PK-12 school enrollment of over 1000 students. CSN students are consistently top-ranked compared to all other Southwest Florida schools when it comes to test scores, extracurricular activities, and college acceptances. CSN is accredited by Florida Council of Independent Schools and is a member of National Association of Independent Schools. 


Key Responsibilities

Communications and Editorial Support

  • Draft, edit, and proofread internal and external communications, including emails, newsletters, announcements, publications, and promotional materials.
  • Review content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, consistency, and alignment with the school’s voice and brand.
  • Gather and organize information from departments and divisions to support timely and coordinated school communications.
  • Draft, edit, format, and update content for the school website and other digital platforms under the Direction of the Director of Marketing and Admissions
  • Review website content regularly to ensure information is accurate, current, and consistent.
  • Support the coordination of website projects, content requests, approvals, and seasonal updates under the Direction of the Director of Marketing and Admissions
  • Provide organizational and administrative support for marketing initiatives, publications, events, and special projects.

Design and Visual Content

  • Create and update branded digital and print materials using Canva and Adobe products.
  • Organize photography, video, graphics, templates, and other assets within the school’s digital media library.


Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, organization, and attention to detail skills.
  • Familiarity or strong background preferred with Canva, Adobe products, website content management, social media, photography, or video editing is preferred.
  •  Willingness to work weekends and evenings occasionally to support school events and communications needs.

Physical Demands/ Ability to

  •  Lift/ carry up to 20 lbs.
  •  Stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
  •  Sit at a desk while working on the computer. 
  •  Bend, twist, kneel, stoop, climb, balance on a regular basis. 
  •  Withstand outside weather conditions as needed. 
  •  Detect and exchange accurate information. 
  •  Have close visual acuity to perform essential functions of the job. 
  •  Withstand a moderate noise level in the work environment.

Compensation and Benefits


The appointment is for a full-time, year-round, entry level, on-site position paid on an hourly basis, commensurate with experience and other qualifications.
