Job description

IQ Fiber was built to do internet differently. We're a 100% fiber-optic internet provider with a simple mission: To engineer a smarter internet experience. That means internet that's fast, reliable, and simply priced, backed by real humans who answer when you call and solve problems before you know they exist.
We bring that same thinking to how we build our company. Our teammates are a big part of what makes IQ Fiber different, and we believe how we work matters just as much as what we deliver. We're looking for good humans who bring great ideas, raise the bar with every task, and want to be part of a bigger story. Your work matters here.
Position Summary
IQ Fiber is bringing next-generation internet to communities across Florida - and we're looking for a Content Manager who can help us tell that story. If you're a hands-on storyteller who's just as happy planning a content calendar as you are behind a camera, editing video, or writing a caption that actually sounds like a person wrote it, we want to talk to you.
This is a role for someone who owns it - you'll set the content strategy for our social channels and company intranet, then roll up your sleeves and bring it to life yourself. No handing scripts off to a video team. No waiting on approvals to move fast. Just good instincts, strong execution, and a genuine curiosity about what makes people stop scrolling.
*****This is an onsite role located in Jacksonville, FL*****
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Own content strategy and editorial planning for IQ Fiber's organic social media channels and company intranet.
  • Identify stories and content opportunities across IQ Fiber, determining the right audience, format, and channel for each.
  • Develop content from concept through execution, including video, photography, graphics, and copy.
  • Manage IQ Fiber's organic social media calendar, publishing, and day-to-day channel operations.
  • Oversee community engagement across organic social channels, including comments, messages, and relevant community groups.
  • Maintain and publish company intranet content, partnering with functional content owners to keep information current and useful.
  • Evaluate performance data, audience insights, and trends to continually improve content.
  • Leverage AI-supported tools to improve content quality, efficiency, and scalability.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in content strategy, social media, communications, marketing, digital content, or a related field, including experience owning content strategy and organic social media for a brand or organization.
  • Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and multimedia production skills across video, photography, graphics, and copy.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Vimeo, Dropbox, Sprout Social, or comparable platforms.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant multimedia content creation; portfolio or work samples required.
  • Ability to work independently in a hands-on, fast-paced environment while managing multiple content priorities.

What Success Looks Like
  • IQ Fiber has a consistent, distinctive, and engaging organic social presence supported by a clear content strategy and editorial rhythm.
  • Strong stories are proactively identified and brought to life across organic social and the company intranet.
  • Content decisions and execution increasingly reflect audience insights and performance data.
  • Company intranet content is useful, current, and increasingly supported by clear functional ownership.
  • AI-supported tools are used effectively to improve content quality, efficiency, and scalability over time.
