Learn Carpentry on High-Quality Custom Home Projects

Covenant LLC is hiring an Apprentice Carpenter / Construction Helper to support our crews on custom residential construction and renovation projects throughout Essex County and the Greater Boston area.

This is a hands-on entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to learn the carpentry trade, work hard, and grow with an experienced residential construction team. Whether you are new to the field or already have some early construction experience, you will receive practical training while contributing to meaningful, high-quality work.

What You'll Do

  • Assist carpenters and lead carpenters with daily job site tasks
  • Help prepare materials, organize tools, and support work areas throughout the day
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
  • Sweep, remove trash, move materials, and help keep tools and supplies in order
  • Follow directions carefully and anticipate what the crew needs next
  • Learn basic carpentry skills, residential construction methods, and safe work practices
  • Use proper PPE and follow company safety procedures
  • Communicate respectfully with clients, coworkers, supervisors, and subcontractors
  • Take the initiative to improve your skills and become more useful on-site
