Are you searching for an entry level Construction Engineering Inspection position?
This role will assist higher-level inspectors performing field surveying and construction layout verification, making and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests.
  • Daily documentation of contractor's work efforts
  • Project field book preparation and documentation
  • Density log book preparation and documentation
  • Material sampling and testing
  • Assisting with preparation of the Final Estimate package.  
  • Measure distances to verify accuracy of dimensions of construction activity/layout
  • Observes work in progress to ensure that proper construction procedures are followed and materials used conform to specifications
  • Obtains and/or prepares material samples for laboratory testing
  • Examines workmanship of finished installations for conformity to standards
  • Records quantities of materials received or used during specified periods
  • Maintains daily log of construction and inspection activities 
  • Responsible for performing basic mathematical calculation and follow simple technical instructions
  • High School diploma or equivalent 
  • Must obtain DOT Intermediate MOT within the first six months of employment
