Job description

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual in English and Spanish Entry-Level Building Construction Coordinator to join our growing team. We are in need for a Part-Time with potential for additional hours based on workload and business needs. You will work closely with our project managers and field superintendents to keep our job sites running smoothly. This is an ideal role for someone eager to launch a career in construction management! This. job not only pays $20 hourly it comes with a gas card to get you from job to job!

Key Responsibilities

  • Document Control: Manage, log, and route essential paperwork like RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and architectural blueprints.
  • Material & Equipment Logistics: Assist with tracking delivery schedules, verify shipments against purchase orders, and ensure materials are on-site when trade contractors need them.
  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule progress meetings, record meeting minutes, and distribute updates to stakeholders, architects, and the construction team.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure safety documentation is up to date and verify that on-site work complies with local building codes.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with processing invoices, reviewing change orders, and tracking project close-out documents.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: A High School Diploma, Minimum one year in Management field. While working towards Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with reading blueprints/construction drawings and basic proficiency with construction software (e.g., Procore, AutoCAD, MS Project, and Excel).
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational and communication skills are the most critical factors for success. You must be able to act as the central point of contact between multiple, fast-paced teams without direct oversight.
