PURPOSE
The Laborer provides labor for their location or manufacturing facility. This entry-level role includes loading, unloading, and stocking building materials. This reliable team member assists their team when needed and is committed to safety.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Load or unload building materials and components as assigned.
  • Move or stock materials in a safe fashion as assigned by supervisor.
  • Follow specific instructions of direct supervisor.
  • Assist other yard or manufacturing associates as required by location management.
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • No experience required. Prior experience in manual labor-intensive positions preferred.

COMPETENCIES
