Job description

Empower Strategies Consulting is the leading Recruiting and Human Resources consulting firm. We are seeking a Recruiter to join our growing team and play a key role in delivering high-quality, relationship-driven recruiting for our clients, who include conservative and Republican organizations.

This role is open to candidates at different experience levels. The scope, autonomy, and compensation structure will be calibrated based on prior recruiting experience. Entry-level recruiters will receive hands-on training and support, while more experienced recruiters may take on greater ownership of searches, client communication, and process improvement from day one.

The position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates based in the Washington, DC area.

Responsibilities:

  • Source candidates using recruiting platforms and creative sourcing strategies
  • Review applications and identify top candidates for further consideration
  • Manage interview scheduling and maintain regular candidate communication
  • Maintain detailed records in internal systems and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Write, edit, and post compelling job descriptions tailored to client needs
  • Support ad hoc recruiting and operations projects as needed

For more experienced recruiters, the role may also include:

  • Managing full-cycle recruiting for multiple client roles simultaneously
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for clients during searches
  • Advising clients on candidate market dynamics, compensation, and role scoping
  • Improving recruiting processes, templates, and workflows
  • Mentoring or supporting junior team members over time

Requirements:

  • Experience working with Republican or conservative political organizations is highly desired, or a demonstrated interest in supporting mission-driven, conservative clients
  • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic work environment
  • Confidence paired with sound judgment, a self-starter mentality, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms is a plus
