Job description

William A. Hazel, Inc., a total site development contractor for over 50 years, is looking for a Concrete Laborer for our Concrete Crew. This position reports to and is under the direction of foreman or superintendent. William A. Hazel, Inc., operates all over the Northern Virginia Area. By applying to this position, you acknowledge and understand you may be required to commute to job sites.
Essential Functions
  • Loading and unloading of form truck.
  • Drive steel pins with 8 lb. sledgehammer.
  • Shovel concrete, dirt, and stone.
  • Run "Jumping Jack" to compact grade.
  • Move steel forms 50-100 lbs. with help.
  • Use level and ruler

Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Less than high school education required; entry level experience. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple one ore two- step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables..
