Job description

LaRiviere Inc. is looking for entry level concrete laborers. We are willing to train the right people!

We are also seeking experienced concrete finishers.


Duties will be forming and finishing curb, sidewalk, and slabs. Some bridge and structural work as well. Pay is depending on experience and work history.

Most jobs are local in the North Idaho / Spokane region. Some regional travel may be required dependent on projects.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and the ability to access ground level surfaces
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Knowledge of materials commonly used in concrete projects
  • Ability to move heavy materials and tools from one location to another
  • Familiarity with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and construction safety standards
  • Ability to use common tools, such as trowels, screeds, floats, mixers and saws
  • Understanding of how concrete cures and how environmental conditions may impact the process
  • Analytical skills to interpret blueprints and construction specifications
  • Basic arithmetic skills to perform measurements
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site
