THE JOB
We are seeking a Staff Accountant I to join the Live Nation Concerts division. This entry-level role combines transactional accounting responsibilities with foundational accounting support. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires regular in-office attendance, up to five days per week, at 2 Jackson Street, San Francisco, CA 94111.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
  • Maintain and record routine accounting transactions, including Ticketmaster and Groupon pushdown reports
  • Partner with local Box Office teams to ensure the accurate and timely recording of daily ticket sales across multiple venues
  • Process accounts payable invoices, including exception invoices, manual checks, and wire payments
  • Create project numbers for new events in Oracle
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Complete assigned account reconciliations and project reconciliations, including month-end and special projects
  • Communicate with internal departments to reconcile and clear intercompany accounts receivable balances on a monthly basis
  • Provide support during internal and external audits, as needed
  • Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Zero to one year of comparable work experience
  • Quality problem solving and communication skills
  • Oracle experience a plus
  • Possess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
