Description

Summary/Objective 
The Solutions Analyst I supports the analysis, documentation, and implementation of technological solutions that address business needs. This role works closely with business stakeholders and development teams to gather product requirements, analyze data, document processes, and support product backlog management. You will operate under the guidance of more senior analyst while developing expertise in business analysis, data interpretation, and product lifecycle support. 
Essential Functions

Requirements Gathering 
  • Assist in gathering and documenting business and system requirements through stakeholder meetings and research. 
  • Translate requirements into basic user stories, functional specifications, and process documentation. 
  • Maintain documentation such as business requirements documents  and workflow diagrams. 
Data Analysis & Reporting 
  • Analyze operational data and generate standard reports, dashboards, and workflows to support business operations.  
  • Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy of reporting 
  • Identify basic trends through business analysis and research and provide insights to support strategic decision making. 
Product & Backlog Management 
  • Document current state business processes and workflows using process mapping tools 
  • Assist with identifying opportunities for process improvement.  
  • Maintain the product backlog by documenting user stories and updating tasks statuses 
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming and review meetings.  
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, or a closely related technical field required. 
  • 0-2 years of experience in Business Analysis, data analysis, product operations or similar roles. 
  • Basic understanding of business analysis concepts, including requirements gathering and documentation. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document requirements and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. 
Nice to haves 
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). 
  • Experience with data visualization or reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau. 
  • Exposure to product development lifecycle or software development environments.
