About the Role
ZLINE Kitchen is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. This is an internal opportunity open to current employees. The Quality Tester plays a critical role in ensuring that every product that carries the ZLINE name meets our high standards - before, during, and after production.
Your existing knowledge of our products, processes, and customers gives you a strong foundation for success in this role. No prior QA title is required - what matters is your attention to detail, your commitment to doing things right, and your ability to speak up when something isn't.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections according to established quality standards
  • Identify, document, and report non-conforming products and escalate issues appropriately
  • Conduct visual and functional inspections of kitchen appliances and components
  • Verify packaging integrity and accuracy of product labeling before shipment
  • Complete inspection records, checklists, and quality logs with accuracy and consistency
  • Communicate defects and quality findings clearly to QA management and cross-functional teams
  • Assist in root cause analysis when recurring quality issues are identified
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by flagging patterns and suggesting process changes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection area
