Post Rehab at Civita Care Center at Newington is seeking a dependable and motivated Therapy Rehabilitation Aide to join our therapy team in providing essential support for high-quality rehabilitation services at our skilled nursing facility.


This entry-level role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth department operations, assisting licensed therapists (PT, OT, SLP) in delivering patient-centered care that enhances residents' mobility, function, and overall quality of life in a geriatric setting.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Transport residents safely and independently to and from the therapy department.
  • Assemble, prepare, and position equipment and supplies for treatment sessions.
  • Assist in positioning residents for therapy and support safe transfers as directed by professional staff.
  • Help maintain an organized, clean, and orderly therapy area, including equipment cleaning and upkeep.
  • Perform a variety of supportive duties essential to department efficiency, such as entering/retrieving basic information in computer systems and transporting equipment/supplies.
  • Assist professional staff and perform other related duties as required.
