Job description

Our client, an innovative leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a dedicated Technical Support Specialist to join their dynamic team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be part of the Customer Support Department supporting the inter-departmental support area within a call center environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Pay Range: $18.26

Shift: Training schedule will be for one month between 9:00am -6:00pm Mon-Fri. Production schedule will be 9:00am - 6:00pm Tue- Sat after training.

What's the Job?

  • Respond to service requests, incidents, and reported issues within the set SLAs to ensure prompt resolution
  • Field incoming requests made to the service desk via phone, email, and ticketing system, maintaining courteous and efficient communication
  • Resolve routine technical problems and escalate complex issues to higher support tiers
  • Work independently to troubleshoot and resolve incidents, escalating complaints to upper management when necessary
  • Collaborate with team members to foster a friendly, helpful environment and contribute to continuous improvement

What's Needed?

  • 2-4 years of experience working in a call center environment
  • Excellent computer proficiency and familiarity with troubleshooting tools
  • Ability to explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical customers
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills related to technical issues
  • Self-motivated, disciplined work ethic with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
