Job Description:
Duties:
  • Respond to and resolve technical issues for court staff (including judges and judicial staff).
  • Ability to LEARN the MiFILE application, and other Court specific technologies including courtroom audio visual/recording equipment, with the aim of supporting users in their everyday use of systems.
  • Examples include stepping into a courtroom to troubleshoot AV or computer issues during court proceedings or helping staff with 'How do I...' questions.
  • Interface with and escalate to County IT team for advanced support.
  • Position will be on-site 5 days a week at 520 W Big Beaver Road, Troy, MI, 48084. Full or partial remote work is NOT an option.

Interview Process:
  • Resource will interview with and report to District Court Administration.
  • Phone screenings may be used to short-list candidates.
  • An in-person interview will be conducted. Interviews will be scheduled as resumes are received. Candidate MUST PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK to be contracted.
  • A full background check is not required prior to candidate submittal.
  • However, except for some traffic offenses, candidates with a prior conviction will not pass the County's background check and cannot be contracted for a role working for the Judiciary, so vet your candidates prior to submittal.
  • We cannot advise on the bill rate for your candidates; note the rate cannot exceed the maximum rate submitted in your RFP response.
  • Candidate will backfill a vacancy.
  • Additional questions can be sent in writing.
  • Answers to questions not already addressed in this description will be distributed via Requisition Clarification to all vendors vs. individual email responses.
  • Unfortunately, we are unable to schedule individual meetings with vendors.
