Entry-Level Diesel / Fleet Mechanic Trainee

Location: Tulsa
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $17-$30/hr based on experience
Expected Hours: 40-60hrs per week, overtime opportunities

AIMRIGHT Testing and Engineering is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Entry-Level Diesel/Fleet Mechanic Trainee with at least three years of automotive repair experience, either professional or personal, to join our team. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance services on a variety of vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, efficient, and committed to quality workmanship. 

Competitive Pay: $17-$30/hr based on experience

In construction and drilling services, our fleet is essential to ensure projects are completed on time and safety is maintained. 

AIMRIGHT’s C.A.R.E. initiative—Conscientiousness, Accuracy, Responsiveness, Engagement—drives how we operate. A dedicated Fleet Technician ensures every vehicle is repaired in a timely manner so that they are safe, compliant, and available when the field team needs it. This role is the backbone of our operational readiness.

What You’ll Do:
  • Perform oil changes, fluid checks, lubrication services, tire maintenance/repair
  • Inspect vehicles for basic maintenance needs (filters, belts, hoses, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation using basic computer systems
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company standards
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to equipment operators and supervisors
  • Perform other repairs as needed
What We’re Looking For:
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Previous automotive or mechanical experience, at least 3 years 
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to work efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
  • Must have own tools
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Construction experience or exposure is a strong plus
  • Experience in Fleetio or other computer systems
  • Experience in welding
