Shipping & Receiving Associate (Laser Operations)

Location: Landrum, SC
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview

Our client, a leading manufacturer serving highly technical industries, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join their team. This entry-level position supports shipping, receiving, inventory control, and laser marking operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, have strong attention to detail, and are looking to build a career in manufacturing and logistics.

Key ResponsibilitiesShipping & Receiving
  • Package, label, and prepare products for shipment.
  • Process shipments using shipping software platforms.
  • Prepare palletized and freight shipments.
  • Receive incoming materials and verify deliveries.
  • Load and unload freight trucks while following safety procedures.
Laser Marking Operations
  • Review marking instructions and identify part numbers.
  • Access CNC marking files through a Windows-based system.
  • Follow work instructions to accurately laser mark products.
  • Ensure manufacturing lot dates and required information are marked correctly.
  • Position and stage parts consistently according to engineering specifications.
Inventory & Warehouse Support
  • Maintain inventory using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Support warehouse organization and material movement activities.
QualificationsRequired
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
