The CAD Technician I is an entry-level role responsible for creating and updating 2D drawings, supporting basic 3D modeling tasks, and learning XeteX-specific design and documentation processes. Drafting & Design Support
• Create simple 2D parts and update redline drawings under direct supervision
• Learn and follow all XeteX CAD processes and work instructions
• Assist with basic 3D modeling; all models will be team-reviewed prior to use
• Ensure no files are released to production without review.
• Support "hot parts," bottleneck areas, and simple CAD tasks as assigned
Workflow & Communication
• Prioritize work assigned by the CAD Manager or CAD Lead; any deviations must be approved
• Ask questions, seek clarification, and actively participate in knowledge-sharing
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and leadership
• Receive, process, and relay information in a timely and accurate manner
Quality, Learning, & Development
• Demonstrate initiative in learning XeteX standards, quality expectations, and design best practices
