Job description

Job Title: Packaging Clerk
Job Description

This is an entry-level position responsible for prepping, packing, and shipping Doctor Blade materials used in the printing industry. Training will be provided to ensure proficiency in tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a Roll Table to produce and package coils, mostly 100 meters in length.
  • Hand place cut-to-length blades on tape for customer dispensing.
  • Fold and tape cardboard boxes for materials.
  • Dispense tape and package materials in various box types such as UBoxes, I Boxes, Pizza boxes, and standard shipping boxes.
  • Ensure accuracy of orders shipped by verifying quantity, type, and adherence to special instructions.
  • Participate in training to improve quality and productivity.
  • Perform housekeeping tasks and follow all safety rules and company guidelines.
  • Perform other job duties as needed, including occasional quality inspections.
  • Participate in cycle counts and inventory management as scheduled.
