Job Description:
Following the rapidly continued growth of our customer base, Darktrace are looking to add to our team of Cybersecurity Infrastructure Engineers.
As a Cybersecurity Infrastructure Engineer in the Professional Services organization, you will ensure Darktrace is deployed, integrated, and optimized to the highest standards to provide our clients with industry-leading, AI-powered, cyber security protection.
This crucial, fast paced role involves assisting customers with deploying Darktrace technology within network, cloud, OT, and email environments as well as leading and becoming a trusted advisor to key customers in their security infrastructure design and planning.
You will be regularly completing deployment projects on or before expected Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and integrating new systems into existing network architecture. On the support side, you'll efficiently manage customer support tickets to assist with technical issues and proactively engage with customers to help maintain a healthy deployment.
In this position you'll be maintaining and enhancing communication between all go-to-market teams, including sales, customer success, and operations.
Qualifications & Experience
We welcome applications from technical candidates with the strong ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (including mentorship of other technical resources). On a technical level, you'll ideally have the following experience:
  • A technical educational background or have experience working as a Network, Cloud, OT or SOC Engineer (or similar role),
  • Basic knowledge of computer networking protocols, LAN and WAN, cyber security principles, and the OSI reference model,
  • Entry level understanding of network and cloud architecture design, configurations, principles, and best practices,
  • Basic familiarity with OT network principles and practices based on the Purdue model,
  • Foundational level knowledge and/or certifications with industry-standard vendors such as AWS, Microsoft, Cisco, or Palo Alto Networks.

Additionally, it would be helpful if you had experience in implementing Darktrace sensors and software modules into various environments (including cloud, email, and OT) as well as experience with Darktrace deployment options, integrations, and response enablement and tuning (custom routes, firewall integrations, email) although this is not a requirement for the role.
Salary: $70,000-$85,000 depending on experience and location
