About the Role

VIVO is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Entry-Level Human Resources Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle across our organization. This is an exciting foundational role for an ambitious professional looking to launch and grow their HR career. You will work alongside experienced team members, gaining hands-on exposure to recruiting, benefits administration, employee engagement, and compliance.

What You'll Do

  • Support full-cycle recruiting: draft job postings, screen candidate resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate new hire onboarding programs.
  • Serve as an approachable first point of contact for daily employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and workplace resources.
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including open enrollment logistics and record updates.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS databases to ensure data integrity and complete confidentiality.
  • Assist with tracking performance management timelines, review documentation, and training initiatives.
  • Help maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to align with employment regulations.
  • Support employee engagement, retention efforts, team events, and recognition programs.
  • Help collect payroll-related documentation and coordinate routine updates with the Finance team.
  • Prepare standard HR reports and metrics to help leadership identify workforce trends.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and coursework) preferred but not required.
  • 0–2 years of experience in an HR support, administrative, or customer service role (HR internship experience is a major plus).
  • Strong desire to build a career in HR with a basic understanding of HR concepts and workplace professionalism.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of empathy and discretion.
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace; familiarity with HRIS systems or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus.
