Position Overview:
CG Infinity is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Computer Technician to join our team in Sugar Land, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Azure Network Security, computer hardware, troubleshooting, and customer service. This position offers hands-on experience with desktops, laptops, peripherals, and network support in a dynamic business setting.
Responsibilities:
  • Configure and manage Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, network peering, routing, and connectivity solutions
  • Implement and maintain Azure network security controls, including Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Web Application Firewall (WAF), and Private Endpoints
  • Monitor and optimize Azure resource performance, availability, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Ensure secure deployment of applications to production environments by enforcing security standards, access controls, and configuration management practices
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate security requirements throughout the application deployment lifecycle
  • Perform security reviews and risk assessments of cloud-hosted applications and infrastructure
  • Implement identity and access management controls using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), role-based access control (RBAC), and conditional access policies
  • Configure and maintain secure hybrid connectivity solutions, including VPN Gateway and ExpressRoute integrations
  • Support cloud governance initiatives, including policy management, resource tagging, compliance monitoring, and audit readiness
  • Troubleshoot Azure networking, connectivity, performance, and security-related issues
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates and deployment automation processes where applicable
  • Respond to and resolve help desk tickets efficiently while maintaining accurate documentation
  • Provide technical support for desktop and laptop systems, including installation, configuration, imaging, and maintenance

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Basic knowledge of PC hardware components, operating systems, and common applications
  • Experience supporting Azure cloud environments and enterprise-scale Azure architectures
  • Strong understanding of Azure networking concepts, including VNets, subnetting, DNS, routing, peering, load balancing, and private connectivity
  • Experience implementing Azure network security solutions, including NSGs, Azure Firewall, WAF, DDoS Protection, and Private Link
  • Knowledge of secure application deployment practices and cloud security principles
  • Experience securing production environments through access control, encryption, vulnerability management, and monitoring solutions
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, and identity management best practices
  • Understanding of DevSecOps methodologies and secure CI/CD deployment processes
  • Experience with Azure monitoring and security tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Sentinel
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills related to cloud networking and security
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
