Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities, but are not limited to the following:
โ€ข Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers, computer hardware, Microsoft Windows and Office, as well as other authorized desktop applications and peripheral equipment.
โ€ข Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment unless prohibited by existing warranties.
โ€ข This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading hardware and equipment (including but not limited to PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, etc.) to ensure optimal performance.
โ€ข Actively take ownership of problems assigned, accurately record work performed and troubleshoot issues (in person, by telephone, or via remote access) in a timely fashion.
โ€ข Provide direct end user assistance to include familiarizing users with basic software, hardware, and peripheral device operation.
โ€ข Develop and maintain a sound understanding of approved operating systems and application software as well as business-related processes and procedures and company guidelines.
โ€ข Responsible for monitoring, operating, managing, troubleshooting, and restoring service to computers (PCs) or laptops that have authorized access to the network.
โ€ข Expert technical knowledge of PCs and desktop hardware.
โ€ข Authoritative knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
โ€ข Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Server management tools, and TCP/IP fundamentals
โ€ข Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories
โ€ข Customer service skills and effective time management, planning and organizing skills
โ€ข Function effectively in a team environment with both technical and non-technical team members
โ€ข Work effectively with minimal supervision and maintain a professional demeanor under stress.
โ€ข Other responsibilities may be assigned, as needed.

โ€ข 2 year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field minimum.
