PAY RANGE: $60,000 - $75,000 / YEARCompensation is determined based on your experience and qualifications.In addition to base pay, you may be eligible for overtime, commission, performance-based increases, and bonuses. Western Grain Marketing specializes in providing comprehensive grain handling, storage, and marketing solutions for customers.We are committed to being the leading grain marketing and service company in our area. The Information Technology Support Technician will provide frontline technology support for our grain operations, ensuring hardware, software, and operational systems perform efficiently across multiple grain facilities.This position combines information technology support with grain operations knowledge, making it an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys both technology and agriculture. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day technical support for grain locations, terminals, and office personnel.Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, tablets, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and network equipment.Support grain software systems including scale software, inventory management, grain accounting, and customer service applications.Assist with troubleshooting grain scale interfaces, automation equipment, and peripheral devices.Coordinate with third-party software and hardware vendors to resolve technical issues.Perform system updates, software installations, backups, and security patching.Assist with user account management, password resets, and cybersecurity best practices.Maintain IT equipment inventory and documentation.Respond to help desk requests in a timely and professional manner.Assist with technology projects, system upgrades, and new location implementations.Train employees on hardware, software, and technology best practices.Travel to company grain facilities as needed to provide on-site support.Participate in after-hours support during seasonal harvest and critical operational periods. Required Qualifications and SkillsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Agricultural Technology, or related field preferred.Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.Two (2) or more years of technical support or IT experience preferred.Experience supporting Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, networking, printers, and mobile devices.Knowledge of grain operations, grain accounting software, or agricultural technology is a plus.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required for loading and unloading.Follow safety and compliance standards to help ensure their well-being and the safety of others.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Ability to work hours other than those considered normal at various times throughout the year to meet deadlines and demands.Provide Exceptional Customer ServiceHigh level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Total Rewards PackageInsurance – Medical, Dental, and VisionFinancial & Savings – 401K Matching, Pension Company-Funded, FSA & HSAVoluntary and Miscellaneous Benefits – Accident, Air Evac, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Identity Theft Protection, Life, Short/Long-Term DisabilityVacation and More – Paid Time Off (PTO), Holiday Pay, Uniform Program, Discounts, Teamwork, Advancements/Service, Retirement Recognition Issue Date: 7/21/2026
