Onsite IT Support Specialist

Austin, TX

Luxury Presence
Marketing • 11 - 50 employees

$55K - $75K/yr

Full-time

Re-posted 3 hours ago

Job description

Luxury Presence is building the AI growth platform for real estate. Backed by Bessemer Venture Partners and other top investors, we're a Series C company that has hit $100M in annual recurring revenue. More than 90,000 real estate professionals, including over 30% of the WSJ Real Trends top 100 agents in the United States, use us to run and grow their business.

About the Role

Our Austin office is home to more than 150 team members, including several company executives, and it's growing. We're hiring an Onsite IT Support Specialist to be the face of IT in that office every single day: the person people turn to when a laptop won't connect, when a new hire needs a machine ready to go, or when the office needs to open its doors in the morning.

This is a hands-on, in-person role. You'll report to the Director of IT and work alongside an IT Engineer to keep the Austin office running smoothly for everyone in it, from individual contributors to executives.

What You'll Do

Frontline support

  • Own the helpdesk queue and walk-up requests for the Austin office, resolving the large majority of issues yourself and looping in the broader IT team only when something needs deeper expertise

  • Troubleshoot hardware, peripherals, and basic network connectivity issues for end users across the office

Workstation and procurement

  • Provision and deprovision workstations for employees, and maintain them for the Austin office

  • Procure equipment as needed and make sure every new hire has a fully set up machine waiting for them on day one

Inventory

  • Build and maintain an accurate, audit-ready inventory of every computer and piece of IT equipment in the Austin office

AV support

  • Maintain and troubleshoot AV equipment throughout the office, including open office areas and conference rooms

  • Make sure conference room AV is meeting-ready, and respond quickly when something goes wrong mid-meeting

Office operations

  • Learn and eventually own the daily rhythm of the office: opening and closing procedures, and the small things that keep 150+ people productive

  • Spend your first few months training and shadowing before taking full ownership of these responsibilities

 Our Tech Stack

You'll get hands-on with the tools that keep our office connected and secure, including:

  • Networking: Ubiquiti/UniFi (switches, access points, Fabric multi-site management)

  • Device management: Kandji (Iru) MDM

  • Physical access: UniFi Access door control

  • Everyday tools: Google Workspace, Slack, 1Password, Notion, Anthropic Claude, Serval

 What We're Looking For

Experience

  • 1-2 years in a help desk or IT support role, or equivalent hands-on experience

  • Also open to entry-level candidates with a strong interest in technology and a genuine passion for helping people

  • Comfortable troubleshooting hardware and basic networking issues, and willing to learn what you don't already know

Attributes

  • You take ownership. You don't wait to be told what to do, and you follow through until something is actually fixed

  • You treat every person who walks up to your desk, whether an individual contributor or an executive, with the same patience and professionalism

  • You're detail-oriented. Inventory accuracy and clean documentation matter to you

  • You're reliable. This role anchors the office each day, so being there, on time, matters

  • You can explain a technical problem to a non-technical person without making them feel dumb for asking

  • Base salary of $55k - $75k, depending on experience
  • Comprehensive benefits

This is an onsite role based in Austin, TX, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.
