ABBTECH Professional Resources and our partner Dell, are looking for a Jr Information System Administrator for a project in Chicago, IL.

Project Details:
  • Pay Rate: $22-33/hr - Depending on Experience
  • Duration: expected 12 month contract
  • Estimated Start Date: ASAP
  • Location: Chicago, IL
  • Requirements: All positions require a successful completion of a background check & possible drug test (we do not check credit) - ABBTECH pays for both checks
  • Certification Requirements: CompTIA A+ or equivalent
  • Duties: the candidate will assist the client with the following types of activities.
    • Assist with application and endpoint support in clinical environments across both legacy and modern digital technologies
    • Assist with systems analysis and troubleshooting with CAD/CAM, PACS, imaging devices, scanners, 3D printers and associated software for core systems
    • Assist with vendor and service provider liaison activities
    • Assist Helpdesk to evaluate, monitor and identify issue resolution for applications and endpoints
    • Collaborate with dental practitioners, clinical staff, IT staff on issue identification, troubleshooting and resolution in support of key clinical applications
    • Provide quality assurance and verify compliance with client standards and best practices
    • Help document current state as needed or provide one on one sessions with technical support for staff
The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position's responsibilities; the candidate's experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.??
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Required Qualification:
  • Junior-level resource that is quick to learn, analytical, and proactive in troubleshooting, with the ability to work independently and interact with vendors for application support and integration.
  • Experience supporting applications and endpoints in general healthcare clinical environments
  • Resource to be in Chicago and able to work within the various clinics downtown
  • High School Diploma and 1 year of experience with at least a CompTIA A+ certification or at least 2 years of experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience working as an End User Computing PC/Laptop Deployment Team
  • Possesses proven customer service background.
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions and update tracking systems as directed
  • Possesses good analytical and communication skills
  • Possesses strong ability to work independently
  • Able to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions and scripts
  • Detailed oriented, independent, self-starter and customer service oriented
  • Must have the ability to lift up-to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to be on your feet ALL DAY and include up to walking the entire building, walking to different buildings and up and down stairs.
Desired Qualification:
  • Experience with the following, while not required, would be a plus and includes Axiom EHR and digital dentistry tools such as 3Shape scanners, Dolphin, and Carestream and PACS-like administration efforts.
