We are seeking a Human Resources Data & Systems Analyst to join our People Services Department. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and optimizing the functionality of our HRIS, directly contributing to our organizational efficiency and employee experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and report People Services (PS) data, ensuring high data integrity through systematic reviews and audits.
  • Develop and maintain standardized, customized, and ad-hoc HR reports for business planning and operational needs.
  • Act as the HRIS Subject Matter Expert, leading system upgrades, enhancements, data uploads, and providing technical troubleshooting.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to resolve HRIS issues and drive process improvements.
  • Oversee comprehensive time off administration, including calculations, system updates, and reporting.
  • Support Compensation and Benefits administration by ensuring data accuracy and providing guidance to HR Administrators.
  • Develop and maintain critical HRIS training materials, job aids, and documentation for practitioners and supervisors.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HRIS administration.
  • College diploma in computer science, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with HRIS integration and/or system migration.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in business process analysis to understand and resolve technical system issues.
  • Proficiency in application programming, file import/export, and transfer utilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of Human Resource business processes and HRIS software functionality.
  • Experience with ADP WFN or similar HRIS/Payroll systems.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to work with continually changing priorities, requiring re-prioritization.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • CHRP designation and municipal HR experience are considered assets.
