Position Background
Inspiroz is searching for a Hardware Repair Technician to join the team as we continue to expand the number of schools that we support, and the types of programs we operate. As schools use more and more devices, we are performing more set ups and repairs than ever before, especially for student Chromebooks. The Hardware Repair Technician will be one of two to three team members focused exclusively on this work. In addition to setting up, testing, servicing, and repairing computers, there may be an opportunity to participate in the administration and growth of the Chromebook Repair program we have launched in the northeastern United States. The Hardware Repair Technician will support the tasks listed below.
Job Description:


Technical Demands
o Troubleshoot technical issues and repair improperly functioning devices.
o Multi-task, prioritize, and work in a flexible, changing environment with multiple deadlines.
o Test components for usability and disposition as needed.
o Inventory control of parts from devices retired and purchased
o Replacement of LCDs, keyboards, motherboards, and system components.

o Handle high-volume enrollment of Chromebooks.
o Install and maintain software on Chromebook devices to meet the needs of students.

o Complete assigned daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
Physical Demands
o Able to lift 50 pounds safely
o Good motor skills and the ability to use hand tools and other small equipment to perform the repairs successfully.
o Comfortable working indoors/outdoors
o Capable of driving a High Roof Cargo Van
