POSITION DETAILS:
  • Location: Austin, TX
  • Onsite: This role requires full time (40 hours a week), in an onsite work structure.
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly motivated Thermal Mechanical Engineering to join our team. In this role you will:
  • Setup, utilize, and maintain lab equipment such as power measurement test stations, optical scanners, flowbench, and Instron.
  • Instrument, test, and collect data on systems utilizing thermocouples, anemometers, sound level meters, etc.
  • Write and review detailed technical documentation.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • You are interested in building and testing hardware.
  • You have the following background:
    • Strong understanding of thermals.
    • Computer hardware such as motherboards, PCIe cards, computer system cabling.
    • CAD (SolidWorks/Creo), power supplies, metal fabrication tools.
    • Major OS (Linux/Windows).

WHAT WOULD SET YOU APART:
  • CFD exposure to OpenFoam / Flotherm / IcePak
  • Strong knowledge of liquid and aircooling
  • CNC and Fabrication experience

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
