Job description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a SWAP Technician to support our Infrastructure and Test Engineering teams. The primary responsibility is to execute hardware component swaps, perform system diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities:

Hardware Execution: Perform physical component swaps (e.g., CPUs, Memory, NICs, Power Supplies, and Cables) based on diagnostic results.

System Testing: Execute standard test scripts and monitor the Production Flow to ensure units meet quality standards.

Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve basic hardware connectivity issues, including patching cables and verifying PDU/Switch configurations.

Documentation: Accurately log all swap activities and test results in the Shop Floor Control system.

Organization: Maintain a clean and organized SWAP station; manage local inventory of spare parts and tools.

Requirements:

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in server hardware, electronics manufacturing, or a similar technical field.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with server components (Racks, Switches, PDUs) and basic computer hardware assembly.

Process Mindset: Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) strictly and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods on the shop floor.

Communication: Basic English communication skills for reporting issues and syncing with the TE Supervisor.
