Job description

As a member of the IT Team at OnLogic, you are responsible for maintaining and enhancing our facilities automation and providing technical support for our core business applications. In this role you will improve our services and provide primary technical support to end users on various issues and problems relating to our internal applications.ย

In this role, you'll be responsible for:
  • Enhancing, troubleshooting, and maintaining our global Facility Automation services andย Physical Access Control System (PACS).
  • Triaging and resolving incoming support requests related to our ERP, CRM, or eCommerce site as needed.
  • Developing and running business reports.
  • Developing knowledge of the OnLogic products and internal processes.
  • Writing effective documentation and training support for systems.

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field), or comparable job-related experience and training.
  • You have competency in SQL (Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server) including database and query optimization.
  • You have competency in Python, with a basic understanding of software best practices.
  • You have experience in Internet of Things protocols like MQTT, Zigbee, and BLE, preferably as they are utilized in a Home Assistant implementation.
  • You have experience in Facility Automation concepts, such as surveillance, energy savings, A/V, lighting, and climate control.
  • You have experience with Physical Access Control Systems.
  • You have a basic understanding of CSS/HTML/XML/JSON.

The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $70,000. We determine final compensation based on discussions with applicants and their experience in similar roles.ย
