Job description

Role Overview

Let your passion for people, compliance, and operational excellence drive your success at Sodexo. As the inUnit Human Resources Manager, you will play a critical role in a highprofile environment by leading frontline employee relations, onboarding, payroll administration, labor relations, HR compliance, and daily people operations. This position is heavily centered on HR coordination, serving as the primary liaison between hourly teams, management, and Sodexo leadership. You will help build and grow a newly formed team while gaining exposure to senior leaders and future career pathways within Sodexo.

In this role, you will oversee daytoday HR operations, championing a fair, consistent, peoplefirst employee experience through investigations, coaching, corrective actions, and issue resolution. You will drive recruitment and onboarding efforts to build a strong, engaged workforce, while ensuring all HR documentation, processes, and records remain compliant with federal, state, and local labor laws. You will manage payroll with precision, support labor relations through CBA interpretation and grievance handling, and coordinate HR initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, performance, and team development.

What You'll Do
  • Lead daily HR operations - Oversee hourly employee relations, investigations, and workplace issue resolution with fairness and consistency.

  • Manage recruitment and onboarding - Drive hiring, interviewing, and newhire orientation to build a strong, compliant workforce.

  • Ensure HR compliance - Maintain accurate records, I9s, personnel files, and adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws.

  • Administer payroll processes - Oversee payroll accuracy, timelines, and regulatory alignment.

  • Support labor relations - Partner on CBA interpretation, grievance handling, and unionrelated communication.

  • Drive HR initiatives - Implement programs that strengthen culture, engagement, performance, and team development.

Qualifications & Requirements
