What You'll Do

As a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment.

You'll work directly with restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels, institutions, and other commercial customers to keep their kitchens operating safely and efficiently.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, gas, refrigeration, and plumbing-related equipment issues
  • Repairing and maintaining commercial cooking equipment
  • Servicing ovens, fryers, griddles, steamers, ranges, dishwashers, refrigeration equipment, and other foodservice equipment
  • Performing preventative maintenance
  • Diagnosing equipment failures and determining the best repair solution
  • Completing service calls accurately and professionally
  • Communicating with customers regarding equipment problems and recommended repairs
  • Maintaining accurate service records
  • Following all safety procedures and manufacturer specifications
  • Keeping your service vehicle, tools, and equipment organized and maintained
What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience repairing commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
