Job Summary:

This role is responsible for performing onsite installation jobs and addressing any issues that arise during the process. It requires the ability to read and interpret build documents and design plans to ensure installations meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities include conducting onsite quality control checks, completing equipment repairs and modifications, and occasionally providing direction to other installation team members on tasks and procedures. The work is fast-paced and often requires frequent travel to different job sites. This position also involves collaboration with departments such as Account Services, Engineering, and Quality Control. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Travel Requirements:

This position requires regular travel to job sites across multiple states, including Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Missouri, and Kentucky. Candidates must be comfortable with frequent travel and capable of managing onsite responsibilities at various locations. Travel schedules may vary depending on project timelines and client needs.

Job Duties:

  • Assemble equipment at job sites
  • Log inventory in various software programs, such as Microsoft Power
  • Perform equipment repairs and modifications
  • Unload equipment from delivery trucks
  • Complete quality control procedures
  • Work with build documents and basic drawings
  • Complete reports and update installation activity in various software programs
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Intermediate computer skills; ability to use Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Advanced knowledge of installation processes and quality control procedures
  • Advanced knowledge of foodservice products and equipment
  • Mechanically inclined; ability to work with basic hand and power tools
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16th of an inch
  • Ability to add and subtract fractions
  • Communicates well with others; asks for and offers help when needed
  • Detail oriented; meets quality standards and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
  • Organized; completes work in a timely manner; able to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Problem-solver; gathers and analyzes information skillfully and generates suggestions for improving work
