Ferguson is seeking a Fabrication Associate - Entry Level to join our team!

Position Details:

Location | Onsite - Forest Park, GA

Schedule | Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm

Responsibilities:
  • Setup and maintain machines in the shop for manufacturing steel curb units
  • Accurately measure steel
  • Observe vital safety precautions for fabrications, cutting, assembling, stacking and shipping of metal
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment.
  • Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
Qualifications:
  • Prior fabrication experience is preferred but not required
  • Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings preferred.
  • Outstanding math skills and the ability to calculate quantities of product on hand
  • Experience and training in operating machinery according to OSHA regulations preferred
  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment and material handling devices.
  • Ability to remain results-focused in the fast-paced customer service environment
