Job description

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Host/ess for part-time evening hours (4:00-9:30pm) in a small team environment. This role requires weekend availability and involves greeting guests, managing reservations, coordinating seating, and assisting with dining room setup and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will be professional, punctual, and possess excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to use an iPad and handle phone etiquette effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and manage reservation system using advanced software including OpenTable
  • Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently in a two-story dining area
  • Bus tables and assist servers
  • Handle phone calls professionally with clear communication
  • Perform dining room setup, including prep and side work
  • Conduct regular daily cleaning duties such as light bathroom upkeep, sanitizing dividers, and door cleaning
  • Foster positive customer interactions and teamwork within a small hosting team
